YOUTH LACROSSE COACHES NEEDED

SPRING 2010 LACROSSE SEASON YOUTH LEAGUE COACHING OPPORTUNITY

The Arlington Youth Lacrosse Club* needs coaches, with lacrosse experience, to instruct boys and girls in the development of lacrosse skills - grades 1 through 8, novice through advanced levels.

AYLC coaches do nothing other than coach. All administrative and ancillary duties are performed by our Parent Team Managers.

Lacrosse practices are usually held at Wakefield High School Stadium and / or Thomas Jefferson Community Center, lower field, on weekends in February and March.

Staring in April and ending in mid-June, ALL practices will be 2 to 3 days per week. Monday - Friday,
6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.

Boy's location: Kenmore Intermediate School / Girl's location: Bluemont Park

There are eight competitive season games, per team, on weekends starting in April, except Easter (if it falls in April) and Memorial Day weekends.

Most home games are held at Wakefield High School's synthetic surface stadium, Arlington, VA 22206 ( Boys' games; Saturday mornings. Girls' games; Sunday afternoons. )

Maps to each of these locations are available on the AYLC Maps-Locations page. HERE.
