The AYLC Parents and Coaches Handbook is in the process of being edited to integrate recent changes to the By-Laws of the Northern Virginia Youth Lacrosse League – of which we are a member. The result, which governs our year-round activities and in particular, the Spring season competition, will be displayed here.

To give the reader a feel for content, some of the subjects covered are Club organization; Team Manager responsibilities; parent / guardian involvement; team selection, size, playing time and "lopsided" scores; competition versus playing; influencing behavior of parents; players and guests; Fund-raising; and, volunteering.

DONATIONS TO AYLC


The ACTIVE.COM online registration site that we are presently using for our club registrations charges a fee PLUS a percentage of any donations they track and record for an organization. AYLC has decided to handle donations the same as we have in the past.

AYLC is a non-profit organization. We gratefully accept any donations that we receive at any time. You may PLEDGE A DONATION during the online registration process, and send or deliver it later. Or, you may contribute a donation in any amount, throughout the year. Your donations are tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt reflecting the amount of your donation.

Your generous contributions go to the support of scholarships for underpriviliged players, equipment purchases, training of coaches and the training of "junior" referees.

Donations to our organization DO NOT affect a player's assignment to a team, or how they will be treated as a player. The Club Commissioner is the only individual with knowledge of donations given and donation amounts.

Donations are NOT refundable if a registered player withdraws from the organization. If AYLC cannot accept a Spring Season registrant because of over subscription, a return of your donation may be requested. Thank you.
