| PRACTICES: | |
SPRING COMPETITIVE SEASON PRACTICES will be held on Saturdays and Sundays in late February and all of March. During April, May and June, practices will be held weekday afternoons from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. Everyone will receive email notification of exact dates and times, by team gender and age groupings, as soon as this information is "firmed up" and available to the Club Commissioner.
NOTE: Occasionally, AYLC needs to use the H.B. Woodlawn indoor gymnasium as a practice facility. Information about the location of H.B. Woodlawn has been added to the AYLC Maps Page. |

| CANCELLATIONS / RAINOUTS: |
| HOME PRACTICE FIELDS AND HOME GAME FIELDS are controlled by Arlington County which determines field "playability". If there is any question about field usage during inclement weather, call 703-228-4715. This number provides information seven days a week, and is the ONLY SOURCE OF INFORMATION regarding field availability for Arlington County public playing fields. |
| AWAY GAME FIELDS are controlled by adjacent local government entities. Club Commissioners using these as their home fields are advised of cancellations or postponements and, in turn, post this information for all to view (at least 2 hours prior to game time) on the Master Schedule on the NVYLL web site HERE. , and/or telephone the affected AYLC Team Manager informing of the change. http://www.nvyll.org/MasterGameSchedule.asp?snid=7153427&org=nvyll.org Seeing these postings, or hearing telephone messages from other clubs, the affected AYLC Team Managers, who, as a "double check" on awareness, in turn, inform their coaches and players via email or phone. |
